The Colors of the Wind Interactive and lighting installation, 2005 The Colors of the Wind (2005) is an interactive installation about emotional colors using the strength of natural wind forces. This work visualizes the power and direction of the wind, using a device made up of sensors connected to several LEDs. The colors of the piece change randomly with the direction of the wind to express forces and changes of natural air currents. The harder the wind blows, the brighter the LED comes on. In addition, visitors participate by blocking the wind around the installation, and by doing so they cause the work to respond in unexpected ways.
